Monagas
Region
Headquarters:
MATURIN
In
2005, the Monagas Regional Office was established with a great challenge
and commitment: to maintain the activity and positioning in the
region, to continue providing services to its members in Ciudad
Bolivar and Pto. Ordaz and to become the main point of support of
the recently inaugurated office in Anzoátegui State.
The Monagas Regional Office proudly accepted this commitment and
is thankful for the opportunity to bring an important contribution
so this institution can continue to grow in the eastern part of
the country, since in the past, the service for Anzoátegui was provided
from Monagas State.
The
participation of public and private entities was present in each
and every one of the activities organized this year. The most representative
was the Cooperatives event, held on March 10, in which representatives
from PDVSA, the State Government Secretariat, Mutual Guarantees
Society and Foncrem. In order for VenAmCham
to become the scenario for the inclusion and participation of all,
we also undertook a formal task in the area of social responsibility,
by facilitating the growth of the Social Alliance in the eastern
part of the country, establishing the first committee in the region.
The foundation of this and all previous committees have been described
in the special edition of Business Venezuela in August, edition
dedicated precisely to the area of Corporate Social Responsibility.
