Infocenter

The InfoCenter is VenAmCham's business intelligence unit, working on promoting trade between the United States and Venezuela through detailed consulting on international business and its commercial implications. In 2005, it emphasized its restructuring and resizing process, which resulted in a new period of consolidation and optimization of its services.

The InfoCenter has put into practice different activities like:

  • Business Opportunity - Revista Business Venezuela / BV: With the same title, beginning this year, a new section was created in the magazine the Chamber publishes and where, month after month, various business opportunities are listed, from other markets, as well as from ours. At the same time, the most important events are highlighted, those held in the United States, Latin America and the rest of the world.

  • AmChams Business Window: In the electronic section of the InfoCenter: http://www.venamcham.org/infocenter/index.htm and with the scope of circulating the commercial information of interest concerning AmChams and their electronic newsletters. This informative window was created, where this information is listed and updated periodically.

  • Tips of Interest: In the same electronic section of the InfoCenter, we placed a window containing detailed commercial information directly related to economic and commercial activities of the business community.

  • Library: As another added value of the Chamber, a physical space was organized at VenAmCham's headquarters, which is being supplied with bibliographies from the InfoCenter, as well as from other public and private institutions and organisms. Members, students and a special target of the general public will be able to carry out detailed research. Its opening will be announced in due time.

Regarding solid numbers, the InfoCenter has assisted more than 450 companies through its regular services like: International Business Consulting, Distribution Lists, Business Contacts and detailed Economic Information. In parallel, the InfoCenter continues to carry out different periodic informative activities like: updates on the changes suffered at the central and decentralized government through its section called "Who is Who in the Government;" the dissemination of business opportunities; the expansion of strategic associations with national and international organizations; as well as continuous and constant advertising, not only about the InfoCenter, but also about Enterprise Florida Venezuela.

Enterprise Florida, Inc.

Enterprise Florida Venezuela, the official representative of Enterprise Florida, Inc. in our country, has participated actively in the national business environment through the promotion of Venezuelan business investment towards this state, as well as bilateral trade by providing business-consulting services to more than 150 Venezuelan and American companies.

Enterprise Florida Venezuela establishes detailed business contacts and supplies useful information on Florida's business environment through 30 Venezuelan projects that have shown a high interest in investing in this entity. As a result of this hard work, the official establishment of 4 Venezuelan companies in Florida was achieved, the economic activities of which are related to the following areas: Sales of medical & surgical equipment and materials; E-learning services for professional training and development; Manufacturing and sales of ducts and grilles for ventilation and air conditioning systems; Manufacturing of water pumps.

Regarding bilateral trade, Enterprise Florida Venezuela has managed to identify the needs of providers from both economic sectors, commercially leading more than 100 companies. Another tangible achievement that this representation has produced in 2005 is the official inauguration of the international website of Enterprise Florida Venezuela on September 30.
